Outreach Through The Arts provides music education, production classes, marketing skills, and industry experiences for the underserved youth of Los Angeles.

Outreach Through the Arts is the passion project created in 2011 by Santa Monica City Council member, Lana Negrete. OTTA provides scholarships for private and group instrument instruction, experience in music production, and access to music performances to the underserved youth of Los Angeles.

She is also the owner of the Santa Monica Music Center and the Culver City Music Center which are local small businesses started by her family where these classes are held. Outreach Through the Arts students range from 8 to 18 years old and scholarships for all music programs are taught at each of the stores.
